" Planning love stories by day and reading bedtime stories by night"

Hi!!

I’m Tais Oliveira, the heart behind Olive Weddings.

This business bloomed out of years of dreaming, planning, and a deep love for creating meaningful, memorable celebrations. The name Olive comes from my own last name Oliveira, the Portuguese word for olive tree, a beautiful symbol of peace, strength, and lasting roots. It felt like the perfect way to honor my heritage while capturing the kind of experience I want to create for every couple: grounded, intentional, and full of love.

Before launching Olive Weddings, I spent years working as a venue event manager and coordinator, where I had the opportunity to plan and execute weddings and events of all sizes and styles. That experience taught me how to stay calm under pressure, manage all the moving pieces, and most importantly how to truly listen to what matters most to each couple. I’m also a certified wedding planner through the Wedding Planners Institute of Canada (WPIC), which means you can trust that your special day is in experienced, professional hands.

Planning a wedding can feel overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to. I’m here to walk with you every step of the way from your first excited ideas to the last dance of the night, making the process smooth, joyful, and completely tailored to you. Whether you're dreaming of an intimate celebration or a grand affair, I can't wait to help bring your vision to life with care, creativity, and heart. With an eye for design, I have also incorporated a curated selections of rental items to help in the design & styling for the wedding of your dreams.

If this sounds like the kind of planning experience you’re looking for, I’d love to connect and see if we’re the right fit to bring your wedding dreams to life. Reach out anytime! Your love story is worth celebrating, and I’d be honoured to be part of it.
