Terms & Conditions

We keep our rentals simple, beautiful, and stress‑free. To protect your event and our collection, the following policies apply to every rental.

Reservations & Payments

Quote validity. Quotes are valid for 7 days. Inventory is first‑come, first‑served and not held without payment and a signed agreement.

Retainer. A 25% retainer (non‑refundable) is required to reserve your items and event date.

Final balance. Due 7 calendar days before the scheduled pickup/delivery. Orders placed within 7 days of the event are due in full at booking.

Payment methods. We accept e‑transfer, cash and cheque. Pricing is in CAD and subject to applicable taxes.

Security & Damage Deposit

A refundable security deposit (or credit card pre‑authorization) is required for every order. The amount depends on the items rented. After items are checked in, we release the pre‑auth or refund within 5–10 business days. Deductions may apply for missing, damaged, excessively dirty, or late items.

Rental Period, Pick-up & Returns

Standard rental period. 1‑day rental: Day 1 (pickup/delivery), A 2-day rental may be accommodated for drop off. Extended rentals are available at an additional daily rate.

Client pickup. Please bring a covered, clean, and appropriately sized vehicle. For safety, we may refuse loading if items cannot be transported securely. Bring blankets/straps for glass and acrylic pieces.

Return all items in their original packaging/crates during your scheduled return window. A full daily rental rate may be charged for each day late.

Delivery, Set-up & Pick-up Service

Delivery area. Winnipeg and surrounding communities. Delivery fees are distance‑based. Minimum order may apply for delivery.

We provide a delivery/pickup window; the site must be accessible (doors unlocked, load‑in path clear).

Setup is included only where stated on your invoice (e.g., champagne tower stacking). Full décor styling or table‑setting is available as an add‑on service. When adding on the set-up service, delivery will be free depending on the rental items

Care & Use of Items

Linens. Shake out décor/food before bagging. Do not return damp. Wax, mildew, permanent stains, rips, or burns will be billed at replacement value.

Candleware. Use drip‑free taper candles; protect surfaces under all candles. Wax removal fees or replacement charges may apply. Open flames must be supervised and permitted by the venue.

Acrylic, glass & signage. Handle with clean hands; avoid abrasive cleaners. Return with protective films and hardware.

Outdoor use. Keep items sheltered from rain, snow, and extreme heat/cold. Weather‑related damage is the renter’s responsibility.

Missing, Damaged Items

You are responsible for the order from pickup/delivery until items are returned and checked in. Charges include:

  • Replacement cost at current retail for lost, broken, or non‑repairable items (including crates, racks, chargers, and packaging).

  • Repair cost for fixable damage.

  • Cleaning fees for wax, adhesive, confetti, glitter, or excessive dirt.

  • Late fees at the daily rental rate per late day.

We will document any issues and provide an itemized invoice for deductions from your security deposit.

Photography & Marketing

We love seeing your events. Unless you notify us in writing, you grant Olive Weddings permission to share non‑identifying photos of our rentals at your event for marketing/portfolio purposes
